cite relevant course readings, and are required to use readings outside the course syllabus. I encourage it as I have stated in class, however please include a work cited/bibliography page. Essays are evaluated for a) comprehension and addressing/answering the prompt and b) for clarity and strength of argument.
Constitution:
How did the debate between the Federalists and Anti-Federalists affect the Constitution? First, describe the philosophical beliefs of the Federalist and the Anti-Federalists. How did each group understand human nature and the purpose of government? Now consider the framing of the Constitution. What were the main debates at the framing, which Federalist positions are represented in the Constitution, and which Anti-Federalist positions are represented?
