Locate a job ad from a job board (example: indeed.com, careerbuilder.com, glassdoor.com, etc.) that is related to your major field. Write a job application letter as if you were applying for that job. Since most job application letters (Cover letters) are submitted electronically, create this letter containing only a salutation, three body paragraphs, and a closing. Your letter should be submitted as an attachment.
At the bottom of the letter, include the URL for the job posting.
In addition, you will include a follow up letter with this job application letter. With both letters, your completed assignment should be 2 pages (1 page for the job application letter and 1 paragraph for the follow up letter). Attached is an example of this assignment.
