The learner will prepare a reflection, summarizing overarching themes in Indigenous History, Identity and Culture, and compare them to the learner’s original Pre-Course Assessment Essay. This is a graded learning activity. Please refer to the enclosed rubric located at the Drop Boxes, for guidance, on what the evaluation will be based.
The assignment will be written in essay style. The assignment will include a title page, a minimum of two pages and a maximum of four pages, double-spaced. All assignments will include proper APA 7th Edition in-text citations and references list. All information written must show where it was sourced.
The objective is for the learner to summarize overarching themes of the course, as it applies to their understanding of Indigenous History, Identity and Culture, while providing personal reflections of themes, issues, insights, facts, etc., that stood out to them. For example, learners may compare these themes to their pre-course assessment, and discuss how their understanding of any of the topics of Indigenous History, Identity and Culture has changed.
