You will be asked to complete a final research project consisting of a Research
Proposal. This project should include (1) a title page [one page]; (2) an abstract [one page]; (3) an
introduction to the paper [one page] ; (4) the review of literature [two pages]; (5) a methods section [one
page]; (6) a complete list of references used. The project should be in APA (American Psychological
Association) format. APA guidelines specify that your manuscriipt should be double spaced throughout,
left justified (with regular “ragged right” margins), and margins should be set to 1 inch on all sides. Please

check the Seventh Edition of the Publication Manual of the APA (APA, 2020). You will be considering
your project throughout the semester during lectures and discussions. In class assignments will be geared
towards your individual project.
