You’ll be reading portions of an environmental assessment worksheet (EAW) that was developed in response to land use changes in Rochester Township (an area west of Rochester, MN). The proposed land use changes raised concerns about Great Blue Heron rookeries on the property, so the EAW includes a supplement that investigates this in more detail. For this activity, you’ll answer a series of guided questions to help you understand the issue and critique the EAW itself.
