Write a research discussion on the Film of Interest.Students will have the opportunity
this semester to explore, sociologically, a film of interest. Students will watch a film of their
choice (e.g., feature film; documentary; sitcom episode) and apply anthropological concepts
and trends they have learned in class to describe a contemporary social issue/phenomenon
depicted on screen. I will post on D2L, a rubric outlining the specific goals of this short
paper in advance of the due date. It is my goal that students will think of creative/insightful
films and will have fun with this write-up! Please see the course schedule for the due date
