Your paper should address our relationship to technology by doing the following four things:
•Pose a research question centered around one main topic
•Describe the activity
•Collect data on the research question
•Analyze and conclude
Notes about writing and style:
•Double-spaced, 1-inch margins, 12-point font, four pages.
•Please avoid excessive quotes, but make sure to properly cite also outside information and quotations.
•Please organize your essay to include an introduction, conclusion, and supporting paragraphs. These supporting paragraphs should be organized thematically and each should have a strong topic sentence. Please see the other handout if you need more help organizing your essay.
Please do not use contractions in your essay, since it should consist of formal, academic writing. (example: don’t = do not, I’m = I am, can’t = cannot)
