This assignment fulfills the following course objectives:
Identify, analyze, and demonstrate effective physical, vocal and /or expressive delivery in public speaking, using spoken and symbolic forms of communication, through a variety of formats mediated with technology and/or other techniques, to convey concepts creatively.
Organize and articulate ideas by adapting topic, content, and delivery for diverse audiences in public speaking.
Identify and demonstrate appropriate skills in interpersonal, group, and public communication situations.
Understand and apply appropriate ethical standards to interpersonal, group, and public communication situations
Background:
The informative speech is one of two speeches we’ll give in this class. You may choose your own topic, but here are some interesting topics/suggestions:
Research your future career and explain to us the demographics of the workplace you’re entering
Teach us how to become more culturally-competent
How to Submit:
