The professor said that “students must select a topic from the course materials to summarize and discuss using at least one additional scholarly source. Papers must be no longer than 4 pages (Bibliography and title pages are not included), double-spaced, 12pt font, Times new roman, and using APA format guidelines.”
The topic and issue that I chose is: (Gender inequality : The rise in gender discrimination in jobs). SO, I HAVE TO WRITE A CRITICAL ANALYSIS ON THIS TOPIC & ISSUE. My topic is gender inequality, and my focus will be on the issue of rise in gender discrimination in jobs.
The paper should contain three parts: 1- Overview of topic & social issue & 2- Literature Review & 3- Critical Analysis
I have to use at least 1 scholarly source (peer-reviewed) outside of the course material. For sure, I attached the course material that is related to the topic that I chose to discuss. It is important to show that I included some of the course material in my paper in addition to the scholarly source that is outside of the course material.
I have to include a thesis statement. The thesis must be precise and clear.
EVERY POINT OR INFORMATION INCLUDED IN THE PAPER SHOULD BE RELATED TO THE THESIS STATEMENT.
It is not an opinion piece. I do not have to use my opinion to support the discussions. I have to use sources to explain.
In addition to the 3 or 4 pages I have to include bibliography page and title page.
The objective of my professor is to see that I understand sociological concepts theories in relation to a social issue and they would like to see that I am able to think critically and reflect on my selected topic.
EVERYTHING IN THE PAPER HAS TO BE RELATED TO THE THESIS STETMENT.
