want you to consider whether it is an acceptable negotiating strategy to threaten (and actually) shut down the government over gridlock (inaction)? Given the form of our government is “gridlock” the only outcome we should expect, why or why not? Wrtite t least 220 words answer.
It might help to think about this in the context of COVID19. There are competing claims (to varying degrees of truthfulness) that Democrats and Republicans both purposefully held up negotiations over the summer months and into the election season to develop a compromise bill and provide a 2nd stimulus (which ultimately was passed at the end of December 2020).
