Think of something that is harmful but not criminalized (e.g., actions carried out by state officials). Offer a sociologically informed explanation for why these actions are not criminalized. When doing so, be sure to identify who is disproportionately affected by the harmful actions and who benefits from their not being criminalized. Additionally, determine how this helps to support systems of domination.
