Module 10 Discussion – GRADED ASSIGNMENT
Discussion: Developing a new software application is a complex and iterative process that requires careful planning, design, implementation, and testing. Describe the overall process of developing a new software application, including the key stages and activities involved.
In your response, consider the different methodologies and approaches to software development, such as Agile, Waterfall, and DevOps, and the pros and cons of each. Provide an example of a software application that you are familiar with and describe how it was developed, including the tools and technologies used, the roles and responsibilities of the development team, and the challenges and successes encountered along the way.
Finally, engage in a discussion with your classmates on the best practices for developing a new software application. What are some of the key factors that contribute to success in software development, such as effective communication, collaboration, testing, and documentation? Share your experiences and perspectives on this important topic, and learn from others in the class.
Discussion Instructions: You are required to submit a substantial response. A substantial response is one that stays on topic and fully addresses the assignment in a clear, concise, and meaningful manner. Substantial Content refers to providing relevant content toward the actual topic of the discussions. This includes quality input, questions and information in your discussion posts and responses to peers.
Deliverables:
Your original posting to the Discussion Board topic must be at least 200 words. Your posting in answer to your classmate must be at least 100 words. Points will be deducted for postings that do not meet the word count requirement.
Discussions must be the original thoughts based on the topics from the “Open Educational Resource” (OER) Course Textbook and/or other referenced sources. Direct quotes from references must be less than 10 words.
All original postings must include a proper APA citation. Failure to include the citation will result in zero (0) points for the original posting.
All postings must be checked for typographical and grammatical errors. Points will be deducted otherwise.
Additionally, no points will be earned for postings that do not address the Discussion Board topic.
Late postings are not accepted. There are no exceptions to this rule
