The 2024 election year will be one of the most important in history. A few states have already conducted their primary elections. The primary elections are conducted to select the candidate for the general election in November. As many of you know, President Trump has been in the news regarding numerous lawsuits pending against him. In total, President Trump has been charged with over 91 felony counts from his various court cases. Most recently, he was ordered to pay Jean Carroll over $83 million in a defamation lawsuit.
Despite still being involved in numerous court cases with more forthcoming, in each of those states, former President Donald Trump has received a vast number of the votes from registered Republicans. This has led to many of the candidates dropping out of the race. The only opponent remaining is the former Governor of South Carolina Nikki Haley. In addition to the court cases, there are some states making an effort to remove President Trump’s name from the state ballots. For this assignment, you must read all of the articles below and provide your feedback on each of the questions. For each paragraph, I am expecting at least six sentences and excellent grammar.
Paragraph #1: Based on the article from PBS, please provide insight on the pending lawsuits former President Trump is facing.
Paragraph #2: Given all the pending cases against former President Trump, do you feel that he should be allowed to remain on the ballot as a candidate for President of the United States?
Paragraph #3: Why do you feel that former President Trump’s continues to support him despite the pending court cases? Should the Republican voters switch their support over to Nikki Haley?
