The purpose of this assignment is to solidify which population the proposed program will address. Include statistics and research that address the needs of that population. This will be a two-part assignment.
Part 1: Introduction
The Introduction introduces the reader to the subject matter. This assignment will be part of the draft for the final paper. In 500-750 words, describe the proposal project in an introduction that includes the following elements:
Refer to your annotated bibliography to choose and refine the references that will be included in the proposal project.
Write an introduction with a purpose statement and the scope of the project that includes possible limitations and barriers.
Discuss two treatment model(s) and approaches that you may want to include, such as treatment strategies, interventions, and/or prevention activities and methods for the proposal project.
Part 2: Outline
Review the Topic 4 Resource titled “Writing an Outline” on the Writing Center page from the Student Success Center.
Create an outline with a minimum of two levels that addresses the following requirements for your final program proposal:
Theoretical support, applicable models, impact of change
Cognitive, emotional, spiritual, motivational, or skill-building methods, resources, and interventions that provide change for program participants
Proposed methods, interventions, programs, and services intended to produce change
Risk and protective factors for treatment interventions and activities
Cultural and ethical considerations
Conclusion
