Hello, I am looking forward to working with you. This assignment is a part 1 assignment to an entire paper that we are expected to submit some time in May for a “Marxism/Communism” class. I am planning on working with you again later on for the 2nd part of the assignment which is finishing the paper. However, for this part of the assignment it is just a research proposal that should have about 500-1000 words and also include about 6-10 sources that are academic and peer reviewed. The research question is: “How did Marxism differentially influence Che Guevara and Fidel Castro’s visions and strategies for the Cuban Revolution, and in what ways did these differences manifest in Cuba’s post-revolutionary policies, society, and economy?”. If you come up with a better title to this paper feel free to change it. You can also talk about how they link to prominent figures in communism such as with castro being a stalinist as his ideology was similar to joseph stalin and guevara being a trotskyite as his was similar to leon trotsky. This is just something that you could sneak in to help the grade as it would link to our course material. A VERY important thing about this professor is that he does not like when students fake an academic voice he likes it to be entertaining, interesting, conversational and engaging.
He says
“you can include your personal point of view as long as you back it up. “like you can say you believe people are terrible just tell me why””
I don’t know how much of that pertains to the proposal per se but keep that in mind when writing please.
