In order to guide your lesson plan, create a PPT that scaffolds the steps of your lesson. This PPT will be what you use in your video recording of your lesson. You may include any relevant activity, but your PPT must include the following slides:
Slide 1: State the objective of your lesson (in your recording, it is good practice to let your students know the goal/objective for “today’s lesson.”
Slide 2: Label this slide your “SET” (in your recording, you will use this slide to engage your students and introduce the skill you will be teaching).
Slide 3: Review of prior knowledge (in your recording, you will use this slide to ask questions that will assess what your students already KNOW about your topic/skill.
Continuing Slides: The slides that follow will demonstrate the gradual release model in the body of your lesson plan. *Remember that the “We Do” portion should be more developed if this lesson plan is Student-Centered.
LAST Slide: Reflection Questions (in your recording, this slide should show your reflection questions for this lesson plan as you verbally answer them).
To submit this assignment, upload your PPT as a .pdf. To do this, go to File; PRINT; change the printer to PDF; save as a PDF to your computer, and upload.
