-The field of study I am doing for my project is Wildlife Biology-
This might help a bit to understand the assignment
The purpose of this semester-long project is to understand your career and field of study better, namely how information is communicated in your field/career, what kind of communication you would need to do within your field/career, the requirements to break into the field, the career options available within your field, the training you might need to undertake beyond academic credentialing, and anything else that interests you about your future career and your current major.
You can dig as deeply into the research as seeing the common types of communication mediums and the required knowledge of technology or go as surface-level as researching the basic requirements of getting the career of your choice (such as salary, degrees, certifications, job experience, etc.). The more you dig, the more useful will be the assignment to you, and potentially the better the grade.

Field of Study Project:
To see the big picture, take a look at our final WK 7 Field of Study project, then come back to read the description for this WK 2 Project Plan.
As a teaser, the Field of Study project means you’ll be researching about your future career. That can be as broad or as narrow as it needs to be, such as researching what career options are available to your major vs. researching a specific position at a specific company.
While this is mostly a brainstorm of what you think you might want to research, the more specific and detailed this is, the better, that way you have a strong game plan of where you’ll go with your research after this week, and so that I know you have a strong game plan and can provide feedback accordingly.
Part I:
Click on the Assignment tab to review the instructions for the Week 7 Final Project. After you understand what is required in Week 7, write one or two sentences per bullet point (there are additional questions and points to help you flesh out your ideas):
Topic:
Choose how broad or how narrow you want to research about your ideal future career, careers within your major, or your field of study in general.
Scope and value:
What is the scope of the topic and your research?
What value does it bring to your life? To your professional life?
Communication medium:
How are you going to communicate your project?
How will you make your presentation different and unique?
Critical thinking questions:
Pose different questions that will help you with your research and investigate your career/topic in more depth.
Post critical questions that will push you to improve.
Subtopics (optional).
Brainstorming (optional).
Part II:
Part II is a reflective paragraph that represents your critical thinking process when thinking about possible sources and your research. You are NOT looking for specific sources now. Consider the best possible sources as presented in the week 2 Lesson. What type of sources will work best for your research? How can you support your project plan with credible, current, reliable, accurate, and relevant information?
Once you complete Parts I and II, please submit as a WORD document.
