For this assignment,submit three problems that you’d like to propose researching with your proposal and eventually recommend solutions for in your recommendation report. As you’re considering your ideas, consider the following points:
Don’t be too broad in your selection. For example, using problems like voting zoning in Houston or lack of volunteer resources for metro Houston are really big problems that require complex research and solutions. We don’t have enough time to put together any research or suggestions that would be valuable. Instead, use below approach.
Choose issues that are smaller in scope that you encounter at school or at work. These problems tend to be more manageable for this final project because they have fewer variables to consider. Therefore, they’re easier to research and recommend researched, appropriate solutions for. Examples of these types of problems include: Lack of campus parking resources for UHD students, a work process has inefficiencies that limit productivity, UHD students don’t how to access specific campus resources, etc.
