In continuation with Portfolio Project Milestones 3 and 5, you will use the feedback provided in the milestone projects to improve slides 2-5 and complete a final Product and Brand Management Strategy presentation.
In a PowerPoint presentation, provide the following slides:
Cover Page (in speaker notes, provide an introduction of the purpose of the presentation).
Product and Price Strategies: Choose an existing product or create a new product. Show an image of the product and in speaker notes, discuss the elements of the product (e.g., features, benefits, competitive advantage). Address how the brand might improve the product experience. Also include your recommended pricing strategy for the product with rationale.
Promotional Strategy: Be creative with providing an image for your slide and share a sales promotion (discuss in your speaker notes why the recommended sales promotion would be effective).
Place and Channel Strategy: use an image of place and in your speaker notes, discuss how you recommend the company distribute the product. Apply and differentiate between direct and indirect distribution strategies.
Brand Hierarchy: Do your best to create a brand hierarchy similar to Figure 12-5 in textbook. Use speaker notes to describe and analyze your figure.
Proposed Ad: Create a visual ad (in Canva, PowerPoint, Prezi, or another presentation software) for social media using a celebrity or celebrities (or public figure[s]). In speaker notes, describe the elements of the brand and why the ad would be effective. Identify what platform (i.e., Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, etc)
Promotional MIx: Create an additional ad that demonstrates an integrated marketing communication (IMC) plan. In your speaker notes, include what media other than social media (i.e., magazine, Internet, banner ad, billboard, etc.) and why this would be relevant to the target audience and furthering brand awareness.
Messaging: Be creative with providing an image for your slide and in speaker notes share how the messaging is different per advertisement. Relate the messaging to IMC principles.
Brand Measuring: Be creative with providing an image for your slide and in speaker notes share how you would measure brand equity.
