Prepare a Research Paper Using Children’s Literature in Math and Science (elementary level – K-6) You are required to complete a five page research paper. This does not include the reference page. The APA style of writing is required. Outline
• Introduction (definition of children’s literature; the importance of using children’s literature across the curriculum.) 1 page
• Body (discussion on how teachers could use children’s literature to help them teach math and science – four articles: two articles that relate to math and two articles that relate to science) 3 pages
• Conclusion ( discussion on what you learned and how this information could benefit you as a classroom teacher.) 1 page
• Reference Page Articles should be no more than five years old. (2019-2023) Articles with .com will not be accepted. Make sure you go to the Levi Watkins Learning Center online. Look at the APA style of writing for COE (College of ED.) Students/Google Slides by Mrs. Platt. It also gives you information about finding articles. How to cite articles inside your paper is important. Your paper should be doubled spaced and typed. Also, your paper should be written with all text, no pictures or charts inserted.
