Assignment Question
Choose a series from a streaming service like Netflix, Prime, or Hulu. Develop a research question that relates to race, gender, and sexuality. For instance, “How does the film ‘Sorry to Bother You’ wrestle with Farley’s notion of Perfecting Slavery?” Write a paper in response to that question, using specific examples from the series and tying them back to theories and discussions from our course. We need to use the article materials provided this semester. At least two articles need to be combined. There are all reading materials from week1 to week9. Select two or more articles from them to cite to help analyze the topic we have chosen. For the topic we choose, we can choose some TV series or movies that are relatively familiar to the public, and then think of a meaningful topic related to race and gender. Then you must not use AI to write, nor can you use ready-made paragraphs online. Here is the outline. You need to fill out the outline this week and submit it. The file has a detailed description of how to write the outline and what content it contains. Those topics with an asterisk must be filled in. Those without asterisks will be included in our article. If it is, then it doesn’t matter if you write it if you don’t have it. write a draft follow my proposal.
