OVERVIEW
We are not completing a long paper in AVIA 573 – instead, we are completing a graduate-level presentation with detailed citations embedded. You will create a PowerPoint, then delier a videotaped presentation.
INSTRUCTIONS
The student will investigate the current theory on safety culture from the body of literature over the past 25 years. Incorporating the information gained through research, the student will create a training workshop for implementing safety culture in a specific type/style of organization (aviation, oil/gas, nuclear power, healthcare, industrial, etc.). I would prefer to go with an aviation company.
The workshop must be 15 PowerPoint slides minimum with bulletized slide format. The brief must include at least two APA-formatted citations per each of a minimum of five required
scholarly references captured in a reference slide at the end. This assignment provides a path toward continuation with the program Capstone project.
