You may choose one movie that deals with a subject or event, or takes place within, the following years: 1492 – 1992. The Movie must deal with World history in some way. For example, you could pick the Thin Red Line as it is about Americans in the World War II and is based on true events, but you could not pick Captain America, because it is a completely fictional account of a time period and character.
In one or two pages write a synopsis of the movie. In a final paragraph tell me what the importance of the subject or time period is to world history. Why does it matter?
