World War I changed the world forever. Between 10-12 million people were slaughtered in the war itself. The world would never be the same. There were a generation of poets who emerged from the war. Wilfred Owen is one of the most famous poets to come out of World War 1. Read over his poem Dulce et Decorum Est. What was your reaction to the poem? What do you think Owen was arguing in his poem?
