Mainly a post-reading impression of “Gawain and the Green Knight”. Wanted to talk about knights and heroes. My course is mainly about heroism, so I mainly discuss heroism and so on. That would like to start a discussion around this book, could a possible thesis statement be equal between knights and heroes? What is the difference between them? How did Sir Gawain demonstrate chivalry, and is there a difference between chivalry and heroism?
