Community Impact Paper
Select a violence topic from those included in this course. Write a 5–7 page paper that specifically includes the following
prompts:
1. Description of the violence topic based on current literature
2. Review of the socioeconomic factors that result in this type of violence
3. Exploration of the impact of the chosen form of violence on the health of individuals and communities
4. Description of prevention strategies or a current initiative that is designed to prevent this type of violence, and describe how prevention will improve individual and community health
5. Provide a conclusion and suggestions for future research and/or initiatives.
These prompts must be bolded as headings to receive full points.
Papers should be single-sided, double-spaced using 12 pt Calibri or Times New Roman font, cited using APA format, and submitted as a Word document to Canvas. At least 5 peer reviewed sources are required. An APA list of references must be submitted and does not count towards the page limit.
