Discussion 6: Implementation Considerations
The problem-solving process is dynamic and subject to continuous revision. It involved analyzing problems, establishing objectives, developing alternatives through both rational and creative approaches, and designing and implementing action plans. For this task please address the following:
1) For the last year, you have been working at an agency that provides counseling services to substance-abusing mothers who agree to discontinue drugs in order to keep their children from being taken from them. Based on this information please create a goal statement and three objective statements related to this goal.
2) A co-worker has been charged with developing plans for placing mentally ill persons in the job market. She has called you for assistance in anticipating what types of problems may arise and what contingency planning she may develop. Please assist her!
3) On the weekends you volunteer your time and given your excellent skills the Executive Director has asked you to implement a foster-grandparent program. After identifying a dozen possible tasks you now need to organize them under activity categories and place them in a 12-week timeline? Please submit your timeline with the responses.
