Pick two reasons you might not have thought about before as reasons why to study intercultural communication. There are six listed in Chapter 1, just pick two. For each of two, find a current example that connects to the issue.
For example, if you pick the “Global Workplace,” as one of your reasons, find an article that might address changes in the global workforce because people are displaced (maybe due to war, or changes in climate and environment, or social unrest). If you pick “Multicultural Healthcare” or “Fostering Global Interpersonal Peace,” you might
think about how the inequities that may arise from inequitable access to vaccines or other vital medications. Pick credible sources to support your observations and arguments.
