Purpose of Assignment
This funding application assignment is very much a practical, real-life task. It requires that you complete a funding application for a relevant music project, giving you a chance to develop an essential skill in today’s music industry.

Requirements
Complete an application for either the PRSF Momentum Fund or Open Fund For Music Creators for a musician and project of your choice.
Read the guidance for the Momentum Fund or the Open Fund for Music Creators to ensure the act of choice is eligible before choosing the most relevant fund to apply for
Guidance
Research other acts that received grant assistance from one of these funds. This will help you understand the type of projects that get funded and the position that the acts were at in their career when they applied and how it has helped them to grow and progress.
The project you apply for e.g. writing an album, a tour, etc. should help the act to progress and grow and this should be obvious from what is written in the application.
The act can be yourself, someone you know, or based on a real life act but you should ensure that the chosen act is eligible.
