What about Servant Leadership in the Old Testament – what does the Old Covenant teach concerning servant leaders? To research this concept the student will write a 1000 (+/- 10%) word paper n APA style based in a pericope of Scripture in the Old Testament explaining what is taught concerning the concept of servant leadership. The pericope is Joshua 1:1-9. The student will use inner texture analysis of socio rhetorical interpretation for the development of this project in the chosen text.
The project will answer these questions:
1. What does this pericope teach about leadership either positive or negative or both?
2. How does this compare with the contemporary model of servant leadership?
3. Does this text extend or challenge servant leadership?
