Cause-Effect essays deal with why certain conditions exist or come into being. One analyzes why something happened. It is important not to generalize or make hasty conclusions. You must decide if the paper will only deal with a cause or an effect or both. This method of exposition is extremely important. We always seek to understand the world and the people around us. We analyze a situation so that we might better understand it. Remember this paper discusses why and not how something happened.
DIRECTIONS: Write a two to four page paper using the cause-effect method of exposition. It must be interesting and you should do a little outside reading. The essay must explain why something happened.
