This paper is supposed to compare and contrast two significant artworks from colonial Mexico. Discuss the key social political and economic factors relating to the two portraits I have chosen. They can not be changed as I have already committed to these two works, the first is by Mariano Guerrero titled Portrait of Don Juan Lorenzo Gutierrez Altamirano De Velasco y Flores, the second is the Portrait of Dona Maria Moreno y Buenaventura by an unknown artist. Her Mole is important, discuss its significance. I will include the scan of the book I found the first example from, but the other was from a gallery website. Also, Gallery descriiptions and other websites such as that do not count as sources, they need to be book and journal sources from a library. The project also requires a powerpoint presentation that I am requesting in this order as well.
