Develop an orientation program for high school graduates entering your major at San Francisco State University as freshmen. The goal of your orientation should be for students to learn about your MAJOR which is Hospitality Management (not necessarily the university). Review the section on orientation in the textbook (pls check the file attached) and develop a detailed outline of what you think would be important for the students to learn about the major at SF State. Title your submission with your major (for instance “Hospitality and Tourism Management Orientation”). You can write this week’s assignment in an essay format or you can create a PowerPoint presentation (just be sure to include all required information below).
List the items that you believe need to be included in the orientation and explain why they should be included (make a clear connection to the textbook when explaining your reasoning) List the method that you would use to deliver each specific informational item (lecture, programmed instruction, etc,) and explain, in detail why you selected that method for that specific topic.(hint – think about how to make the orientation effective and achievable).
Create an orientation checklist. Be sure to include specific details that would apply to your major.
