Task Overview:
You are required to submit a critical reflection piece based on the collective negotiation simulation carried out in Weeks 6 – 9. This simulation will be carried out in tutorials. You will be asked to reflect and evaluate the performance of your team members. Details of this assessment can be found below.
MGMT 3000 – Negotiation simulation reflection task (Assessment 2)
Word limit: 2,000 words maximum
Using the material and concepts discussed in lectures, you are required to evaluate the negotiation actions and tactics of the other members in your group. You may choose to focus on one individual or several members of your group.:
1. Provide a critical analysis of the communication effectiveness and style of one or more of your team members, in the context of the negotiation scenario (800 words)
2. Provide a critical analysis of the power dynamics between individuals and the two teams across the three weeks of the negotiation scenario (700 words)
3. Using at least one evaluation tool, assess the effectiveness of both teams across the three weeks of the negotiation scenario (500 words)
