Overview
Chapter One from Psychology of Terrorists: Profiling and CounterAction discusses the negative connotation given to the word “terrorism” and the part perception plays when considering what terrorism is. Think about the phrase “One man’s terrorist is another man’s freedom fighter.”
For this assignment, you will create a PowerPoint presentation judging terrorism. You will choose one group that you believe could be considered terrorists and freedom fighters, depending on the point of view. Use your textbook, the Internet, and the Strayer Library to research your chosen group.
The Criminal Justice Library Guide would also be helpful in finding resources. Besides tips on selecting credible sources and conducting and organizing research, it includes links to criminal justice databases and publications.
Note: Refer to PowerPont for Windows Training page if you need help with using PowerPoint to create a presentation.
