Submit an annotated bibliography of your current sources. Your bibliography should include at least 5 sources: (a) the 3 articles you identified and reviewed in Weeks 1, 2, and 3 (i.e., Assignments 1, 2, and 3) and (b) two additional journal articles. All 5 articles included in the annotated bibliography should fall under one theme/theory/issue that you are focusing on for your final literature review project.
According to the APA Publication Manual (2020), an annotated bibliography is a type of paper in which reference list entries are followed by short descriptions of the works called annotations (p. 307). Most APA Style guidelines are applicable to annotated bibliographies (p. 307). In general, it is not necessary to cite the work being annotated in the annotation because the origin of the information is clear through context. However, do include in-text citations (see Chapter 8) of you refer to multiple works within an annotation to clarify the source (p. 307).
Format and order references in your annotated bibliography in alphabetical order. Each annotation of your 5 articles should be a new paragraph below the reference. Each annotation should include at least one paragraph but should not span beyond two paragraphs.
Each annotation is your summary of the important points of the article. The goal of this assignments is to pulling important findings from each articles results section into a few paragraphs to then be revised and used in your literature review.
