Considering what we know about Antisocial Personality disorder (a very likely diagnosis for the killers he mentioned) especially how ineffective treatment seems to be… in your opinion should we use his ‘recipe’ to ‘find’ killers before they commit the crimes and lock them away? Why not? Be sure to use (and discuss the terms to show you understand them) terms from your textbook such as range of reaction, canalization, niche-picking, etc.
3. Lastly, consider what you learned about research and ethics in chapter 1. From the bit you saw about Jim Fallon’s research, identify the research design he seems to use in his study, be sure to support your answer with a rational for why you think this. Also, would you consider Jim Fallon’s research, and specifically the inclusion of his grandchildren, to meet the Society for Research in Child Development’s guidelines? Be specific, which standards are met or not met?
