STATE POLICY ANALYSIS AND CRITIQUE ASSIGNMENT
The State Policy Analysis and Critique Assignment is designed to identify a state-level policy that regulates an issue or problem. For this assignment, students will select a state policy and critically analyze and assess it in terms of the problem or issue it seeks to regulate. The State Policy Analysis and Critique Assignment will consist of at least four (4) pages (excluding title page, references, figures, illustrations, or other extraneous elements outside the main body of the paper). Students will format their paper using 12-point Times New Roman font, one-inch margins, and double spacing. Students will use at least two (2) references (Wikipedia or blogs CANNOT be used as a reference). The structure of the assignment must include the following mandatory headings:

a. Thesis Statement
3. Description of the Problem or Issue
4. Analysis of the Policy
5. Discussion
6. Critique
7. Conclusion
8. References
