Write a paper which will explore the background of Ross Ulbricht and examine his family history, his childhood and upbringing, his lifestyle, his neighborhood, his childhood friends, his adult friends, his educational history, his work history, his interpersonal relationships, his medical history, and his personality in order to learn why he became the Dread Pirate Roberts. This paper will also explore two theories in order to better understand Ross Ulbricht. Theory is intended to provide descriptions of criminal behavior, motivations for crime, techniques for committing crime and help us understand if the offender can be rehabilitated. Theory explains criminality and predicts criminality and so helps us understand the potential for rehabiliation.
