you tend to speak in generalizations, and you
have to be much more specific. the bigger
issue is that your topic is way too broad. the
topic of your paper is basically “racism in
prisons,” and that is not specific enough.
racism in prisons is already known and
widespread, so what specific element of that
are you going to focus on?
Final Draft Checklist:
Make sure your title is compelling and specific, showing us what is the problem and its cause (use a colon if need be!)
Include your FULL alphabetized and properly MLA formatted annotated bibliography.
Number your pages.
Check the formatting on your multi-modality!
Be sure your (relevant) multi-models are appropriately captioned and (especially your footnotes) properly formatted.
Be sure your work is double-spaced.
Be sure you have properly cited all of your sources within the body of the composition.
