Student will research evidence-based classroom management strategies that can be used to create a possible classroom environment for students in Kindergarten through 6th grade. Student will identify the following in their narrative:
a) Student will describe their classroom setting by grade level, student demographics, classroom setting (including a classroom map) that identifies furniture placement and spacing. Students should refer to their assigned Field Experience classroom assignment as reference to build on their current experiences. If student is not assigned to a classroom, they will be able to refer to their “mythical classroom” to complete this assignment.
b) Describe in their narrative various evidence-based strategies and how the strategy can be used to maintain overall classroom climate, as well as address disruptive behaviors.
c) Refer to 7 Habits of Highly Effective People and describe how integrating Habit 1, Habit 2 and Habit 3 can assist in creating a meaningful classroom environment and culture.
d) Students will use at least 2 resources, not including the resources provided by this course, to support their strategies.

Student must be descriiptive in their narrative describing their overall classroom management strategies through evidence-based strategies.
