When I grade journals, I am looking for approximately the following objectives:
• Is the answer a fully developed paragraph that makes sense on its own, around 200 words?
• Does the writer show understanding of the text and respond with their own opinion backed up with evidence?
• Does the writer cite from the source correctly in APA format?
• Is the post edited and mostly free of grammatical/mechanical mistakes?
