2. Preparation of a concept of a strategy of creating your own personal brand as a future
doctor in accordance with the guidelines given below
Guidelines for the preparation of a concept of the strategy as regards
the 4 stages of building a doctor’s personal brand:
1. Setting the goal – if you want your name to be associated with a specific branch of medicine, build your image of an expert.
Within the project specify::
• what benefits you want to gain by building the recognizability of your name?
• how do you want to be perceived?
2. Identification of the recipient group – the target group of recipients are patients, but it is also worthwhile to remember about
other stakeholders, including journalists, branch experts, employers or even competitors.
Within the project describe:
• who your future patients can be?
• what health problems they can have which you will be able to help them with?
3. Creation of a personal brand – the creation of a personal brand should be purposeful, based on the growth of recognizability, on
developing the image of an expert/specialist and on increasing the financial value of the work done.
Within the project characterize:
• what can distinguish you among other doctors?
• what and where would you like to read about yourself? (in the context of patients’ opinions or media information)
4. Introduction and maintenance of personal brand – you will win recognizability , among others, through purposeful Internet
presence and activity.
Within the project plan:
• whether and what Internet activities you might undertake?
• whether and what social activities you might undertake? (CSR activities)
• whether and what scientific/research activities you might undertake to promote your image? (evidence of skills and
knowledge held)
