Annotated Bibliography: An annotated bibliography is a list of citations to books, articles, and documents. Each citation is followed by a brief (usually about 150 words) descriptive and evaluate paragraph, the annotation. Creating an annotated bibliography calls for the application of a variety of intellectual skills: concise exposition, succinct analysis, and informed library research. Creating an annotated bibliography involves gathering the most important sources of information about ones topic. These sources will then be used as the basis for your video presentation in part 2 of this assignment.
For your annotated bibliography, you should include a minimum of 10 sources to support the technical aspect of your presentation. In particular, you are to research the kinetics, equilibrium and thermodynamics of this system. Acceptable references should address topics such as:
Who developed the Haber process? When? What country was he from? (Course Outcome 5)
Historical background and significance of this reaction (Course Outcome 5).
Le Chtaliers Principle and the conditions that favor the forward reaction (Course Outcome 3).
Temperature and pressure conditions this reaction is typically carried out (Course Outcome 3).
Catalyst most commonly used for this reaction (Course Outcome 4).
Environmental impacts of the Haber process to include approaches being taken to reduce the use and environmental impacts of such fertilizers created by this process (Course Outcome 1).
Current research exploring a sustainable electrochemical method to drive this chemical reaction (Course Outcome 5).
Each citation is cited using CSE citation style.
