Because of your brilliant performance in your Humanities 1 class at Saddleback in the Spring of 2022, you have been chosen to head the world to rid it of all its inhumanity, and to make it truly human. You have been given all the power necessary to accomplish this. Some challenges you face:
The 20th. century saw 2 World Wars between the allegedly most civilized countries with over 90 million people killed. Should there be one world government democratically elected, which would have the only military ?
There are 7.753 billion humans on planet earth. In 1960 there were 3 billion. 9.2% of them live on less than $1.90 a day, about 689 million people. That is, they live in extreme poverty, with barely enough to eat to keep them alive. There are 2,755 billionaires and 56.1 millionaires in the world.
We have the capacity to destroy planet earth with our nuclear weapons. Science says that the center of the earth is 10,832 degrees Fahrenheit.
How may acts of unkindness are there in the world every day, how many lies, robberies, murders? How many hundreds of million women are sexually assaulted in the world?
Is modern art really art? Jackson Pollock spray paints randomly on a canvas and it sells as great art for $140 million.
Or are humans fatally flawed and will always be flawed?
