Discuss about public health, health promotion and health protection narrated presentation.Inequalities- https://www.health.org.uk/topics/inequalities Instruction: • The narrated presentation should focus on the public health/health promotion message of the poster presented at the formative assessment including consideration of the issues arising from the feedback • Use the feedback grid to organise your slides (but you do not need one slide per item) • Consider the issues under ‘topic’ and how you addressed these for your poster presentation. • The rationale for the decisions and choices that you made should always be supported by relevant evidence/citations . If you think a particular colour conveyed ‘calm’ for example, what evidence do you have to support this premise (point of view). Clarity of expression (including accuracy, spelling, grammar, punctuation)/visual preparation/oral • Be clear about the information you include on each slide and what you choose to narrate. (., do not just read from each slide). • Your narration should include rationale relating to your poster and be clearly evidenced in the slide you have chosen to include. Academic integrity. Honesty in studies; acknowledging and giving credit to work of others; appropriate use of referencing standards for discipline • This is self-explanatory and is not designed to be on a slide as it applies to the whole presentation. Information gathering, content, range of knowledge and application of theory to practice • Refer to the learning outcomes and the module content that underpins your presented topic. Address aspects of this in your presentation for example, health promotion models, epidemiology, ethics, statistics, research, UK breast feeding rates, service user perspectives etc. (you do not need to include all of these but consider what is relevant). Use of literature and evidence of reading • Your final slide should demonstrate the references used in a LSBU Harvard style list. All references in the list should be from a credible source and be cited in your slides. There is no requirement to provide a bibliography. Conclusions • Consider the implications of what you have included in your presentation to practice and any recommendations in relation to your poster and public health topic.
