Write a paper on Gender and Racial Aspects of the War in UkraineStudents will use the same topic they selected for the annotated bibliography assignment. A rubric indicating how your document will be evaluated will be posted on Canvas. Students are expected to:
– Write an introduction or overview of the topic. (This is an opportunity for you to give the reader a foretaste of the content).
– Pay attention to your transitions from one paragraph to the next because it is essential that your reader
understands the journey you are taking them on.
– Next, describe why this topic is important and/or timely. You may link your reason to historical or current events, legislation, social, cultural, and other related factors.
– Link two-three course concepts, theories, and/or frameworks to the document content.
– When referring to a theory or concept make certain to describe it and cite the source for the concept.
– Students are encouraged to engage the reader from the first paragraph and hold their attention throughout the document.
– As you conclude the document, include a paragraph suggesting what may be useful moving forward.
– Indicate what if any additional steps may be helpful for further research, policy changes, advocacy or activism, and what that looks like in your view.
– Prepare your paper as a Word document or an RTF. I do not accept any other format.
– Use Times New Roman and 12-point font, one-inch margins, single-space your document, and format page numbers.
– Prepare a works cited page and save your work using your last name and date.
