Each Student is to complete a statement of his or her own personal beliefs about teaching. The statement should include information on students, learning, teaching and behavior information.
Each statement should address both the cognitive and affective parts of teaching, teaching with both the head and the heart. Be sure to address the current academic content standards and their place in the educational setting of today.
The assignment should include:
1. Ways you will address the standards and still intergrate the Multiple Intelligences into your teaching
2.What the climate will be like in y our classroom, specifically addressing issues of diversity.
3. Ways you will help students become risk takers.
4. Talk about your role as a colleaque and as a lifelong learner.
Each section should be 1 to 2 pages long. The total assignment no shorter than 4 pages, no longer than 8
