Title and Introduction- how did you determine your research topic, what helped shaped your ideas and why are you interested in studying this aspect of the media? (worth 5 pts.)
Connection to Theory- What theoretical perspective informed your research? (worth 15 pts.)
Literature Review/Main Themes of your Research Proposal- a brief overview of the main themes of your research proposal and an overview of your outside sources (discuss the research and findings of at least 3 sources) (worth 30 pts.)
Methodology- discuss the types of methods you will use for your research (survey, interviews, secondary data analysis, content analysis, etc.) Please share a copy of your survey or interview questions with the class during presentation.
Discuss the data used or generated
Data Analysis ( quantitative or qualitative)
Expected Results- What are your expected findings should you carry out this research? (worth 10 pts.)
Conclusion and Works Cited Slide – please use APA format and cite any sources discussed during your presentation (worth 15 pts.)
Time Requirement: 8 – 10 minutes (worth 5 pts.)
Respond to at least 5 classmates’ presentations (worth 10 pts.)
