Explain Why the United States Joined WWI Late and the Differences they made.

Why did the US enter World War I?

I believe that this source will be important to me because it explains the reasons as to why the US entered late. However, this source only provides a general idea and not a lot of information specifically on the events leading up to entering WWI. I think this source helped me understand what specific events to research because it seems to be like a timeline which I can use to help build or structure my paper.

John Keegan WW1- America and the Armageddon
This book was recommended by professor ostoyich and pointed out Chapter 10 specifically. This book will be helpful in my research because it gives extensive information on not just events, but people as well. People are key components of history and of all wars so I firmly believe that this book will help me gain information on events and people of these events.

Woodrow Wilson Biography
Another book that seems to be self-explanatory as to why this man would be important to mention within my research paper. Woodrow Wilson was the President of the United States at the time of World War I so he is a must-have mention in this paper.

Sound and Silence of the German American Apollo by Dr. Ostoyich
An Article that highlights the significant and odd relationship between Germany and America as well as German Americans living in the United States at the time of the war. I think this will be useful to my research and writing because I feel like this source can help put me in the mindset of an American in 1917 which I believe will enhance my writing ability.
